LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) are also referred as LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurses) in some of the other state training programs. It is an entry level training program in which basics of patient care, diagnosis, checking health status, monitoring vital life signs and much more related issues and topics are taught.

There are more than 51 programs for the LPN training in the state. More than 731000 candidates have conferred as a LPN from the various training programs. The average salary of a LPN after clearing the NCLEX-PN examination is $42000 per year and an average hourly wage of $20. There are mostly 41 semester hours during the training programs.
